Victoria Hayes
Specialisms: Mental Health, Eating Disorders, Empathy, Perfectionism
Vicky has lived with severe anorexia for the last 25 years. Her chronic mental illness, which impacts every aspect of her day-to-day life and long-term aspirations, has strengthened her deep-seated belief that mental health should be treated on a par with physical health. That stigma around mental health issues should be addressed across society.
As a Governor, representing users at South London and Maudsley (SLAM) NHS Foundation Trust, she advocates for meaningful involvement of people in their care.
Vicky is a seasoned PR, advocacy and government affairs professional and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the last 10+ years.
With her curious mind, dual British and French nationality and nurtured by many travels and work for international organisations, Vikcky celebrates difference.
