Anita is a passionate speaker, trainer, qualified coach and former teacher.
All of her sessions incorporate her extensive professional and lived experience, using an intersectional, strength based approach.
She has had to overcome many challenges to be where she is now. These include losing her mum to breast cancer and facing the illness herself, being a carer to neurodivergent boys and receiving a diagnosis of Autism with ADHD (AuDHD) for herself later in life, as well as leaving a stable job of many years to start her own business, after experiencing burnout.
Navigating these events, in addition to encountering the stigma that can exist in the South Asian community when it comes to hidden disabilities, has created a strong desire in Anita: to increase understanding, break down barriers and show how we can thrive, not just survive.
